CHALLENGE:
As part of its commitment to advancing the socio-economic inclusion, rights, and well-being of LGBTIQ+ people in Lesotho, Queer WorX sought to equip participants in its Queer Econ programme with practical digital communication skills that could support entrepreneurship, financial independence, and professional growth. Many participants required guidance on how to effectively use digital platforms to promote their businesses, build credible personal brands, and navigate online spaces safely while protecting their personal information and digital identities
SOLUTION:
Bloom Communications partnered with Queer WorX in the implementation of Queer Econ trainings in Leribe, Mafeteng, and Maseru, delivering digital communication and personal branding training to programme participants.
Our work Included:
- Facilitating digital communication training sessions for participants under the Queer Econ incubation programme.
- Providing practical social media management skills for entrepreneurs and emerging business owners.
- Training participants on how to build and maintain a positive, authentic, and professional online presence.
- Guiding participants on the strategic use of social media to support their business and economic goals.
