CHALLENGE:
The Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC), a United States-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening financial sectors in developing countries, was implementing a media development project in Luanda, Angola. As part of the initiative, there was a need to equip journalists with modern digital media skills and enhance their capacity to produce compelling and engaging content in an evolving media landscape.
SOLUTION:
Bloom Communications, through its Lead Consultant, partnered with FSVC to deliver specialized training programmes for journalists in Angola.
Our work included:
- Facilitating Training in Digital Content Creation in August 2025.
- Delivering Training in Visual, Editing, and Packaging Skills in December 2025.
- Equipping journalists with practical skills for producing high-quality digital content.
- Enhancing participants’ understanding of visual storytelling and content presentation.
- Providing guidance on editing techniques and content packaging for digital audiences.
- Sharing contemporary tools and best practices to help journalists adapt to changing media environments.
RESULTS:
